Enjoyed family in Reno, onto Las Vegas

We saw Tom's family in Reno and discovered that it is cold here in the winter at night.  Brrr!  It gets as cold at night here as it did at home.  Just no snow.  We did a little gambling one day and more than doubled our money.  We only spent $20.00, but hey we came out $40.00 ahead, I would say that was a good days profit.  !00% in my mind is not so bad.  He also played the game of "Chicken in the Pot" and won me a very large Xmas Moose.  So we had fun in downtown Reno.

Sacramento has been wonderful

We have surely enjoyed our stay here visiting with family.  We spent the time checking out Old Sacramento. We took in a Suspense Dinner Theater on the Delta King.  We had so much fun.  We got to spend time with my brother and his family and Tom's brother and his family.  The weather has been in the mid 60's the entire time we have been here.  Cannot beat that.  It rained one day, not to bad, even that day it stayed quite warm.  Much better than below freezing and or snow.  Tom helped my brother put up Xmas lights in a t-shirt.  Much better than being all bundled up and freezing cold, I would say.  From here we are headed to Reno, NV.  Talk to you soon.  Patty & Tom

Coos Bay, Oregon

We have had the most beautiful weather the entire time we have been here.  It has been sun shining the entire time we have been here.  It is supposed to rain tomorrow, I guess that would mean we should load up and head further south. We have sure enjoyed the balmy weather.  My brother and sister in law have taken us to some of the most enjoyable fish eating places.  Yum!  That is the joy of living right on the ocean.  Crab, shrimp, cod, tuna, salmon, a regular smorgasbord.  Kathy and I spent the day in Bandon having a girls day out.  We thought the sign of the dog on the board walk was just to funny.  We had so much fun.  Talk to you soon.

We made it to Portland

Rain, Rain and more Rain.  At least it is not snow.  We have had a lovely visit with our Aunt RoseAnne and our Granddaughter Cydney.  She came and did a sleepover with us.  We were up most of the night playing cards and visiting, had a lovely time.  Now we are getting ready to head out to Coos Bay, Oregon.
