As usual we have enjoyed our stay here and time goes by way to fast. We came here for Easter. Our friend Jason was so surprised to see us that his reaction was, "it is not Christmas yet. Why are you here?" We just informed him that we had so much fun with all of them this last Christmas that we decided to come back for Easter. As per our usual our motor home seems to have some kind of mechanical problems when we get close to Texas. It is like it knows it will get fixed here. At least this time, the problems were fairly minor. But this is why we were here for almost 2 weeks instead of 1 week. We were waiting for some parts to come in.
We went to the WildLife Ranch and don't even ask what all the different types of deer we saw were. They sure were pretty though. We also went to a "Car Showing". Anybody that wanted to show off there care could. It did not have to be an antique or a muscle car or a classic restored car, in fact our Geo Tracker would have fit right in. We thought it was great. They had a live band, and they do this every 2 weeks here. It was fun.
We went to see Shirley Stewart, a friend of ours, who used to live in Cheney. She is currently in Silver Tree Nursing and Rehab. She just had neck and spinal surgery. She could use your prayers.
From here we are headed in the general direction of Tucson, possibly Albuquerque and Santa Fe. Talk to you soon. Patty & Tom

Universal Studios, Oh My!
We spent 3 days at Universal Studios and enjoyed all 3 days. This way after 6 or 7 hours we went home not so wiped out that we could not function. It was a blast. We got to see the new Harry Potter section. They made it pretty much like the town where he went to school. There were so many things we enjoyed. My favorite ride was Men in Black. It was a ride where you had a blaster that you had to shoot aliens along the way. It was fun. We did it 2 times, which is how much we enjoyed it. Tom's was the Harry Potter ride. The one that scared me the most was the Mummy. Nothing like riding a roller coaster in the dark and backwards. Yeah, that is so fun, especially when you do not like roller coasters in the first place. Like I said , overall, we had a blast. We behaved like a couple of kids while we were at Universal. From here we are headed to Bulverde, TX to spend Easter with Archie & Gail. Talk to you soon. Patty & Tom

Leaving Ja-Mar, Port Richey
We went fishing and had a lot of fun. We also went to a jamboree while we were here. They have had alot of entertainment for us to partake in. Our little street has its 4:00 happy hour, which we have enjoyed. You do not have to live on this street to partake, which is kind of nice. As you can see, even Teddy has made lots of friends. Bruce and Linda are his new people best friends and he really likes Keeta the little gray dog. He tolerates Abbey. She likes everybody.
We have so enjoyed our stay here, it is very hard to leave. We have made some very good friends. They even had a breakfast for us and Linda & Dave who are also leaving this morning. They are just such nice people. We have just felt so welcomed here. We are like one happy family.

Port Richey, Florida
We have been enjoying ourselves so much here that I have not taken the time to do my blog. My bad, as they say. We went to Tarpon Springs, which is very dog friendly. They let us take Teddy on a cruise to a beach where we could go shelling. It was fun. He got to sample his first run through the ocean. He was not quite sure what to think of it. We are staying at an RV park with a lot of people that are from Pennsylvania Michigan, Ontario, New York, etc., we are the only people in this whole park west of the Appalachian Mountains. We are considered a rare breed of duck, shall we say. For the most part, the weather has been wonderful. We have had the occasional cool day. But it is usually in the 70's or low 80's. We like this kind of weather. We definitely could get used to this, yes we could. We are currently located on the party street in this RV park. Go figure. They had a USA day while we have been here, with a parade and big picnic afterwards, that was a lot of fun. They have a horse racing game that Tom does very well at, me not so much. Overall we have been enjoying ourselves very much. We went to a Strawberry Festival, which is like a Fair, and I met Elsie the Cow, from Borden's Milk. Teddy got sunglasses so now he is a cool dude. We spent an afternoon on the pier in St. Petersburg and went to their aquarium and went out to lunch. Like I said we have just been enjoying ourselves. There are so many things to do. I think we are going ocean fishing this week yet.

Elizabethtown, Ky
Well, we have been here for almost two weeks. We were only planning to stay one week. Would you believe it was snowing when we got here. Well, it has snowed off and on while we have been here. It is cold. Tom & I decided we do not like the cold weather. I look at what the weather is like in Cheney-town, and it is comparable to what it is in Elizabethtown.
We came to spend the time with Andy and his family during his 40th birthday. We went to the gun shooting range for Andy's 40th birthday. Andy, Erika, Mitch and Alex are pretty good at hitting the target. Mitch was determined to get me out there. Someone obviously needs to teach me how to hold a gun before I ever pull the trigger. I am so far away from knowing what I am doing on a gun range. I was so really out of my element. Big time!
We went to the Swopes Museum again. They let Tom set in the $4,000,000 all original non-restored Packard. Tom was determined to go the the Corvette factory. Would you believe this is the one time of the year they are closed to the public because "they are working on the 2014 corvette plans" and cannot let anyone see what they are doing. It is a big secret. So we just drove around the outside and took pictures. We went through the museum last year, when we were here.
We went to the Jim Beam Distillery and got to help do some bottling of the whiskey. They would not let us keep what we bottled, though. Darn it anyways! It was fun.
We went to the Louisville Slugger Museum and Factory and we got to see how bats are made. As you can see, they gave us our very own bats. They are rather pint sized in comparison to the real thing, but hey, I am not fussy. I think my bat is pretty cool.
From here we are headed south. Some place where the sun is shining and the air is warm. Much warmer! Talk to you soon. Patty & Tom

Pigeon Forge, TN
We went to Pigeon Forge, TN, thinking we would go to Dolly wood The joke was on us. They are closed until March. We did go to some really good shows while there, however. The Hatfields' & McCoys' and Comedy Barn. We truly enjoyed ourselves. There was a store there that was Stages West. We just had to check it out. It had some pretty neat stuff in it. And of course the Happy Days diner. What can I say! We also went to the Bush Bean factory. We did not get to meet Jake the talking dog, personally, so obviously we did not get the secret recipe. We did a get a picture taken with him, however. We did get to see some of his movies. They serve a very good lunch at their factory, that is for sure. Tom got a pretty good picture of the flying pig. We are now in Lexington. It is colder here than it is Cheney-town. 16 above. If we were not going to see our son in Elizabethtown, we would definitely not be this far north. Tom keeps talking about doing some sightseeing in Lexington, but somehow I just cannot get excited about going out in 16 degree weather to seeing anything. Talk to you soon. Patty & Tom
